Hey all. Just to spite Flan-boy (who said I’d never use this new blog) I’m here to fill you in on some show related info. In the highly unlikely event you haven’t donated to our latest cause (Klasskids & Fall RIver Animal Rescue) yet and would like to, here’s the 411 in a 911:
1) Donate $5+ via paypal @ Tesdcharity@gmail.com & you’ll get the Pucknuts bonus pod (90 minutes of mostly non-hockey related hilarity) plus the first ep of the pod Q & I did back in January. (over 60 minutes of me bitching about a guy I was instrumental in getting arrested and tossed into the pokey)
2) If you donated to the Florida Panthers cause you’re covered and will get both pods.
3) We have your email addresses and will begin sending out the pods on March 7th.
4) Want the pods but don’t want to use paypal? send a money order made out to Klasskids or Fall River Animal Rescue to 35 Broad St, Red Bank NJ 07701
5) Last day to donate in order to receive the pods will be March 11th 2011.
New show feature:
Are you a musician? Have a band? Email one of your songs to tellemstevedave37@gmail.com and from here on out we’ll pop it in at the end of the show right after you hear Walt utter those famous four words. Our aim is to give back a little something to listeners who have supported TESD and helped us build it up over the past year.
Now, just because WE’RE metal as fuck doesn’t mean you need be. Submit any genre of music you like. We just ask that you/your band be relatively proficient musicians and the song be reasonable in length (No In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida covers please). Include with your tune:
1) Band Name
2) website/Myspace address
3) Name of Song
Each week I’ll post the band info in our blog (despite Walt’s assertion I’ll slack after a week or two) so if people dig, they can check out you and/or your band.
