Just finished the pod, was awesome worth every penny. I had tears in my eyes during pass the puck from laughing so much and the revelation about Ming was kinda creepy..Yall keep up the great work! I look forward to hearing u guys shows every week

  6. Karl says:

“I love you Grover…” – Making fun of Bry crying to Sesame Street. God that made me laugh. The exclusive pods are amazing. Everybody needs to get them.

  7. Matt Gore says:

Love the bonus pods, I went from being a TESD junkie looking to get his fix to a probable TESD/PuckNuts over-dose. Nice work guys. Dare I say the hidden gem was the “Space Monkeys” episode really interesting subject matter and shows a side or Bry we only get glimpses of here and there.

    -MG

  8. Jeffrey says:

The bonus pods were great! I’d love to hear more Space Monkeys.

  9. NXS (Begley) says:

Listening to episode 53 right now… I’m at a little over 33 minutes into the episode and I can already tell that this is going to be an epic, epic episode. Walt getting shushed, Bryan getting down with Strawberry Shortcake and an older Dora, and Walt’s latest encounter with Trailerboy. Classic! I’m sure I’ll be leaving more feedback as the episode progresses but yes, thank you for a lengthy, fun-filled listen!

  10. heath says:

I gotta say, Ming is a bit creepy lol… Since the “sociopath diagnosis”, even his laugh seems to have a odd “this is how people are supposed to laugh” quality to me, which ties in with his “one true three” confession.

  11. schlitz… pabst… grain belt… all good shite…

q… if you can get a hold of a grain belt premium… it’ll change yr world… want me to send a few bottles to the stash for you?

  12. Dom says:

Space Monkeys was a pleasure to listen to. 50% Q works!

  13. James in Toronto says:

Someone should warn Walt about the principles of quantum fetish mechanics. Any fetish, once spoken aloud, will then naturally manifest itself somewhere in the world.

  14. Craig Lucas says:

    Hi Bryan
I’ve just listened to your last podcast were you asked for bands. Please check out Man Get Out, they’re from Liverpool ENGLAND & they’re BRILLIANT. I tweeted about them earlier. I hope you can play them on your amazing show. Thankyou for making my journey to work a joy.

    Cheers

    Craig

  15. pat says:

Such a great bonus Pod, cracked up the whole way through. Great works guys.

  16. Just relistened to the bonus pod. The Quote Q qas looking for in Diggstown (i’m gussing) is ” Don’t bullshit a bullshitter…. especially one who’s better than you”-James woods to Bruce Dern

The movie Walt is thinking of, which was contreversial because kids copied it in real life, had football players laying down in the road as cars drove over them. It was removed from the movie, but that flick (again, not completely certain) was The Program with James Caan

    • NXS (Begley) says:

You are correct. The quarterback and star of the movie, who had an alcoholic father, got tanked up and laid down on the yellow line of a busy street. It was “The Program” and I love that movie. Hardcore for sure.

  17. ding-gis says:

amazing tesd episode. bonus pods where a shining example of podcasting as well. you guys are on a role. should do space monkeys as a regular or semi regular show

  18. NXS (Begley) says:

Back for more commentary for episode 53.

Walt’s new game is pretty funny but I’m fairly certain that in another lifetime Walt was some sort of evil taskmaster game show host from hell because there’s such an evil air and delight to his hosting and games. I love it though and it makes for classic listening. All this chatter about the bonus pods makes me jealous as hell. I’m a devoted listener but I don’t have the means to donate electronically (no credit card or debit card) but I will find a way to get my donations in if it’s not too late.

I will say that I used to be a fan of Ming but I gotta tell ya, all this talk about him being a sociopath and his nonchalant “If you don’t like me then who do you like?” mentality, accompanied with his trickery with the whole Manlove hypnotist ordeal, has made me question him. (I know, who am I? Right, Ming? Just a die-hard fan, sir. That’s who.) 😉

Anyways, Great show and I can’t wait to hear the next part of the show. I truly think I could listen to Walt talk for hours.

  19. D Unit says:

Check out this video of you dancing with your top off when you were in shape! http://bit.ly/ibE6Sg

  20. Fletch says:

I can’t wait to get home to download.

I think the first T-shirt should be the banner at the top of your blog. I would buy one right now.

  21. Mike says:

What is the subject of the bonus pod email? I donated but haven’t seen a email show up yet. 😦

  22. Michael Pierry says:

I really loved Space Monkeys! I’d listen to more of that. Don’t get me wrong, I love Walt’s contributions and Tell ‘Em Steve-Dave and Puck Nuts would never be the same without him. But it was nice to hear Bryan tell a fairly long story without being constantly made fun of. As amusing as that is, there’s something to be said for a more mellow podcast, particularly for the extra focus it seems to lend. It may simply be that having one fewer person in the room makes each of you work that much harder to be interesting. That said, I can definitely understand the reluctance to do more episodes for any number of reasons. But if you did, I think a lot of people would dig it.

  23. Fletch says:

I was listening while I was jogging. I almost fell down laughing. It is hard to jog and laugh.
